Hours before sunrise, something awoke me from my warm bed to photograph. It was storming outside. When I got to this location in the Dundee Hills, I didn’t expect much. But I waited. Suddenly the sun broke through a crack in the clouds. Magic happened. It last for just a few amazing moments. Obviously the state recognized that magic when they used the image to inspire the art on Oregon’s Wine Country license plate. Let me know when you see this image on an Oregon plate.
